Thank you to The Yellow Door Gallery in Dumfries, who let artist Kirsty Turpie, Fiona Marsh and I take over the space for a week. We filled the interior with with white wall lining to create a wall to wall blank canvas, we spent the week filling the gallery, with sculptures, flowers, paintings and a bath. Inspired by the book 'The Moon and Sixpence' a fictional retelling of Gauguin's life by W. Somerset Maughm. At the end of the week the gallery hosted a brunch where we auctioned off sections of the walls. This was a truly mad week and i'm so blessed to have such crazy artists as friends, as well as supportive art organisations in the area.
