I was first gained funding for this project in 2018 with the help of DGUnlimited to get the Visual Artist and Craft Maker Award. I received mentorship from Emma Brierley and Stephen Pickering to help me release my puppet show concerning sea-levels rising. Sean McKay at The Ottersburn gallery was then kind enough to allow me to use his gallery space throughout March 2020 to build on what I had learnt. I made accompanying prints and jewelry for the show. Just on the cusp of the first lockdown we held a launch gathering which included a talk from Leonie Lepple, a marine environment protection. Thank you to everyone involved but especially to Sean for the use of his lovely gallery in Dumfries.
